Here's a likkle compilation of some unreleased material I've been sititng on that I feel must be heard and felt. Seems like ages ago that my old friend from Santa Cruz Indidjinous started to produce his own variety of jungle music and now he's living in London, working with Tech Itch and now remixing my tunes! His remix of my 'Down Low' track is definitely something different and refreshing with his double half time amen breaknology. Track 2 is a collab with my homie from the streets of the LA Underground SpinSir who always stays fresh with his sound. Our collab is a months long task and the result is a deadly combination of lofi basslines over classic jungle choppage. Another old school buddy of mine Wulf and I worked on this track years ago and we thought it might be released thru Artikal Music uk but it never happened. So now it's finally seeing it's release via this compilation. The track to me is one of my best collabs I've ever done with anyone - moody, hypnotizing, sub heavy and dance floor ready. Next tune is a remix I made for another good friend from NYC, Big Ears. I've known this dude for years and it was fun to remix something for him as it was a personal ting. The tune "We Are People" is political yet bangin' enough for the warehouse crew.
And to end of this mini-comp I'm hitting you guys with my smooov as butter remix of a song by Gutz called "Life Groove" that will take you on a heavenly journey. Hope you guys dig this small taste of the Digital 6 musical journey that always stays away from the average / trendy flavors that water down the purpose of making music in the first place.
